I am a huge fan of inspirational and motivational quotes!!! You will find them all over my house. And in my journals. And on my Pinterest boards. Sometimes they’re written on post it notes and placed in strategic locations so I can see it several times daily.
Since one of my goals with this blog is to inspire others, I thought I would share some of my favorite inspirational quotes with you occasionally.
It is my hope that perhaps one of these quotes speaks to you and can provide you with whatever encouragement or inspiration you may need on your journey to living a more creative life.
Creative Inspiration For You #1
Let’s start with this one…so appropriate for me at this point in my life …just starting a new blog and so unsure of EVERYTHING I’m doing.
This has almost become my mantra lately. And it’s a great reminder to NOT let the fear of being perfect keep us from learning and growing…from being creative.
What you create does not have to be perfect!!
Repeat over and over whenever perfectionism rears its ugly head. And it will!! Too often perfectionism keeps us from creating or trying new things. We become fearful that our efforts are not good enough. That they don’t measure up. So we don’t even make an attempt. Or we give up too quickly. Or keep trying over and over again to make it perfect. Well, at least I do. How about you?
However, I am not going to let perfectionism stop me! Don’t let it stop you either!
So what if it’s not perfect?!? At least I am doing something! And learning! I know that the more I create the better I will become. If I’m having fun and enjoying the process…well, that’s what truly matters right? It’s okay if my creation isn’t perfect!! It doesn’t have to be perfect to have an impact.
So whenever you feel like what you are creating isn’t good enough, that it’s not perfect, repeat after me…

Just create! Have fun and enjoy the process!!
