HAPPY FALL Y’ALL !!

Today is the official start of fall. Even if it doesn’t feel like it outside. And it certainly doesn’t here in my neck of the woods. Still temperatures in the 90’s. Whew! How about you? Does it feel like fall where you are?

Fall is my favorite season of the year. I have always loved back to school time (retired teacher here), the cooler weather…chilly mornings & bright sunny afternoons…and all the hustle and bustle that comes with fall routines. Not to mention the dazzling array of colorful leaves in October. And all the beautiful fall decor.

This is my second fall season in my new community…where it is always hot and the leaves don’t really change. So I am still adjusting. And really missing the signs of fall I’m used to. But it sure felt like fall in my house yesterday. The fall decor’s done. Delicious smells filled the kitchen from the pot roast cooking in the oven. (Thanks honey for cooking) And the sound of football games on the TV. So if its not fall outside I’ll create fall inside!
